is less of a group and more of a concept. Performances are, in its various stages of growth, a collaborative endeavour. The people I am working with at the moment of a project comprises the team, and by extension is a member of TambayTimes Kids, although I do work with a more or less a fixed set of folx, mostly queer, trans, gender non-conforming. I began my projects in the name of "makabuluhang pagtambay"—intoning the connotation of the "tambay" as slacker, dreg, lumpen, thereby reversing its meaning. It is an organism, an ever shifting group of like-minded individuals ready to be mobilized if the call arises, and then disband and disappear as a form of creative and practical tactic.
